The day I brought Vicky into my house, she was having bulgy stomach and trying to escape from the box that I gave to him. Vicky is my first dog. I don’t have any experience with dog before, other then feeding some stray dog in my previous home.
Before I took Vicky to my home, I asked my father whether he can take care of medical expenses of her or not.
We were still studying at that time and my father only person who work in my family. He was a lorry driver and 3of his children still studying, it is a huge responsibility to say yes at that time.
He agreed with my condition, but why?
When we meet Vicky at my aunty house, she was tight up with raffia string around her neck. She was in tears and unhappy at all. When I asked my aunty about the puppy, she told me that it’s for her daughter who stays in another village.
I am not a person who likes to ask for other people’s belongings but my heart can’t stop thinking about the puppy at all.
I played with him and spoke to my father whether we can bring him to our house or not..
He agreed
It’s has been almost ten years since Vicky with us. I can share the experience that I never regret bringing him into my life.
